Smog globe is a little confused

The Smog Globe, as featured yesterday in Animal NY, is a pretty cool statement. But why the nuclear cooling towers?

Ironically (as it's making a statement on air pollution) nuclear power plants don't generally create smog-causing compounds as part of their operations. In fact, nuclear power has long marketed itself as a "cleaner" option in terms of air quality (with the tradeoff of radioactive solid waste).

Cool idea. Poor execution.
