My "you're new here" comment is a response to how seriousy you took my post. Fridays, for the past few months, have been all about having fun with bad, weird or just questionable ads.
So, to answer your previous comment seriously:
I was making fun of how unintentionally creepythe ad is. I get that it's supposed to be an auto service guy fixing her bed. But the art direction makes it look like she's hiding a corpse or something.
Also, the pattern on the blankets looks like tire tracks.
I don't work for BBDO, Romania, but please allow me to do the 'splainin on their behalf.
ReplyDeleteIs he dead? No, he is not dead.
Is he naked? Possibly.
Is he about to attack her? No. What makes you think he is about to attack her?
Is she dead? No, she's not. She doesn't look dead. She looks like someone who's sleeping.
Is she naked? Possibly. Who cares??
Why does it look like she's been run over? It does not look like she's been run over, Sherlock.
Ad - stupid. Your questions - even more so.
You're new here, aren't you?

Apologies for the misunderstanding. I just thought you were reading too much into the ad. By the way, I love your blog! Keep up the good job.
