A very Lynchian music video by David Lynch

Oh, yes. It's weird. And of course it has nudity, violence and almost painful weirdness.

According to Lynch's own site,
"Recorded over several months at his own studio in Mulholland Drive with engineer Dean Hurley (who also contributes guitar and drums), "Crazy Clown Time" unveils a majestic, yet powerfully idiosyncratic vision of "modern blues" that could only be drawn from the mind of David Lynch. Filled with foreboding soundscapes, hypnotic rhythms and enigmatic lyrics, this is music that will resonate not only with fans of Lynch's films, but also to listeners who appreciate daring, experimental music."
I don't know what else to say. You can buy the album here.

David Lynch has a new coffee commercial, and it is also weird

After pissing off Mattel with his previous bizarre coffee ad (in which he has a conversation with Barbie's disembodied head) David Lynch has just decided to rip off himself in this new one:

(I know! You had to watch a preroll ad to see another goddamn ad!)

For those of you unfamiliar with his work, that's pretty much what it looks like — but with more awkwardness, violence and girl-on-girl sex.

But hey! It's organic.

F'd Ad Fridays: David Lynch PBR ad

Somebody took this messed-up Dennis Hopper scene from Blue Velvet and mashed it up with PBR branding. Awesome

David Lynch Signature Cup O'Crazy

Buzzfeed is buzzing this bizarre video promoting David Lynch Signature Organic Cup Coffee, hosted on the David Lynch Official Video Channel.

That's right — it's real. And surreal. And disturbing. And baffling. And tedious. And weirdly hypnotic.

And now I either want a cup of organic fairtrade espresso, or I want to lipsync-croon menacingly into a shop light. I'm not yet sure which one. Lynch is like that, even in advertising.

The Barbie head also reminds me of dead Laura Palmer.
